About

Hi! I create custom 3D printed things! I'm well versed in CAD and the world of 3D printing. If any of my products listed do not fit your needs, message me and I can modify them to suit you. Or, if you need something made that is not listed, message me and I can most likely create it for you!

➤ My most notable products:
* Custom side panel spacer kits for the Lian Li branded PC cases
* MK8 & MK8.5 Golf R and GTI license plate brackets which can be mounted without drilling holes in the bumper.

➤ My most notable qualities:
* I use quality grade FDM filament - the best suitable for the function of the part
* My products are all printed using Bambu Labs printers, which are known for their print quality
* My products are printed with high strength and perfect tolerances/fitment in mind

➤ Notes on 3D printer filament choices:
- License plate bracket filaments:
Why ASA over PETG? ASA vs. PETG:
ASA (Acrylonitrile Styrene Acrylate) and PETG (Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol) are popular 3D printing filaments, each with distinct properties. Here's why ASA generally outperforms PETG in critical areas:

Toughness: ASA offers higher toughness than PETG. Its impact resistance is about 10–20% higher, making it better suited for outdoor or stress-prone applications.

Strength: ASA has greater tensile strength compared to PETG, typically by about 15–25%. This strength advantage makes ASA more durable under mechanical loads.

Stiffness: ASA is stiffer than PETG by 10–15%, which is ideal for applications requiring dimensional stability and rigidity, like automotive parts or structural components.

Weather Resistance: ASA outshines PETG in UV and weather resistance, retaining its properties and color for longer periods when exposed to sunlight and harsh environmental conditions.

ASA-CF as an Enhanced Alternative:
ASA-CF (ASA reinforced with Carbon Fiber) elevates the performance of standard ASA by incorporating carbon fibers into the filament, offering:

Increased Strength: ASA-CF is approximately 30–50% stronger than regular ASA and PETG due to the reinforcing effect of the carbon fibers.

Higher Stiffness: Carbon fibers significantly improve stiffness, making ASA-CF up to 40–60% stiffer than PETG. Lightweight Yet Durable: The carbon fiber addition maintains a lightweight structure while boosting mechanical robustness.

Dimensional Stability: The enhanced rigidity reduces warping and deformation during printing and use.
